Concerts coming up

April 20, 2007 - Leave a Response

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that i have some pretty big concerts coming in the next month. I have been really inspired by this big concert I had in upstate New York with my violin friend, Will Knuth. We played for this small concert series in Utica, NY. It was an amazing hall with perfect acoustics for such a small chamber group. We got a great turn out and it looks like we will be invited back next year for their concert series. After will told me that he set up this concert with the director of this music series, I was motivated to take this freak show on the road. So, I called around to all the local libraries and they were all extremely pleased to have music at their libraries, AND they offered to pay. Its all about getting yourself out there. You can’t wait to be heard, you have to proceed aggressively. That’s how you make a career. Its been a lot of fun organizing concerts. So, concert dates!

Thursday, May 3, 2007 6:30pm at Jamaica Plain Library, Jamaica Plain…all Tedesco concert!
Friday May 4, 2007 8:00pm at New England Conservatory…Bartok Duets
Saturday May 5, 2007 2:00pm at Codman Square Library, Dorchester

I can’t remember any more concerts off the top of my head. will be back for more updates.

Hi Everyone,
This is my first blog ever! Hard to believe, I know. Anyway, I hope you are enjoying my new website. It is the result of about 3 months of really hard work and collaboration with web design company, lookitdesign. It was a fabulous process working with them! They were creative, courteous, fast, responsive, direct. You name it, they did it! Anyway, I just completed a four mile walk in the frigid Boston weather. Probably my last cold walk for a while because my girldfriend and I are visiting Puerto Rico for a week. Don’t worry, I’m bringing a guitar. There’s always music. I’ll be working on solidifying my two monster programs for the end of the year. One is an program comprised of all Tedesco works, including a Boston premiere of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Divan of Moses, and then some solo stuff, followed by his famous quintet for guitar and strings. The other program is a similar, except I’ll be performing with violinist, Will Knuth. We will be playing a bunch of music from Ibert to Piazzolla. Anyway, I’ll keep you posted on upcoming events. Also, if you need to know any further info about a concert, please feel free to email me. Thanks!

Hello world!
